He rose to prominence in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he transitioned from tag team standout to main-event singles star and later became a key member of the New World Order (nWo).
Following WCW’s collapse, Steiner continued wrestling at a high level across the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), later renamed World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2002, and World Wrestling All-Stars (WWA) before becoming a featured veteran presence in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where he captured the TNA World Tag Team Championship and remained a prominent on-screen personality during the promotion’s formative years. A multi-time world champion, Steiner is remembered for his raw intensity, freakish power, and one-of-a-kind promo style that made him one of wrestling’s most unmistakable figures.
