He teamed up with colleagues Samir Ghanem and El-Deif Ahmed to form the "Tholathy Adwa' El-Masrah" (The Stage Lights Trio) troupe, which performed in theater and television. They rose to fame starring in the first-ever Ramadan *Fawazeer* (riddle/variety shows) directed by Mohamed Salem and co-starred in numerous films and plays during that period. Following the death of El-Deif Ahmed, Samir and George continued to work together for years before Samir eventually pursued a solo career. George Sidhom’s notable plays include *Ahlan Ya Doctor* (Welcome, Doctor), *Al-Mutazawwijun* (The Married Couple), *Hub fi Al-Takhshiba* (Love in the Holding Cell), *Funduq Al-Ashghal Al-Shaqqa* (Hard Labor Hotel), and *Musiqa fi Al-Hayy Al-Sharqi* (Music in the Eastern Quarter); his television work includes *Bawabat Al-Halawani*.
