Alongside his work as an actor, Goeres has also gained extensive experience in the fields of special effects and stunts. He founded the "Perfect Action Stunt Team," a venture that also saw him working behind the camera—specifically in technical areas such as second-unit directing and camera shot planning. After several years of working on international productions, he eventually founded his own action company, "MG ACTION."
Actress Mira Elisa Goeres is his younger sister.
